Natalie Bond

Natalie is the founding physiotherapist at Coffs Coast Hand Therapy. After graduating from the University of Sydney in 1996 with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy) Natalie worked in various hospital and private practice locations in NSW and Queensland.

It was in these formative years as a young therapist that she gained experience and a passion for hand and upper limb therapy. After a move to the ACT in 1999 she held a senior position in hands and burns management at Canberra Hospital and remained there until a move to the Coffs Coast with her husband and 2 young children in 2006.

After 6 more years at the Coffs Harbour Health Campus working in a busy outpatient department doing hands and orthopaedics and with a third child in the mix, Natalie opened Coffs Coast Hand Therapy in April 2014.

Natalie has a special interest in complex trauma, wrist pain and post surgical hand therapy. Natalie is an associate member of the Hand Therapy Association and is committed to continued education, always striving for better outcomes for her patients.

In her spare time Natalie enjoys cooking, sewing and spending time with her family and her dog Mac the border collie

Anna Blucher

Anna joined Coffs Coast Hand Therapy in 2019. After graduating from the University of Queensland in 2015 with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours), Anna joined a busy private hand therapy practice working across multiple locations in South East Brisbane.

In Brisbane Anna had the opportunity to work alongside senior therapists and Orthopaedic/Hand and Upper limb surgeons gaining a wealth of knowledge and cementing her passion for hand therapy.

Anna has since been awarded the credential of Accredited Hand Therapist by the Australian Hand Therapy Association Credentialing Council. This involves undertaking over 300 hours of advanced upper limb education and assessment, a one-year mentorship and a minimum of 3600 hours in hand therapy clinical practice.

Anna has a special interest in post-operative care after hand surgery and trauma including wound care, splinting and scar management.

Since moving to the Coffs Coast Anna’s family has grown and she enjoys all that the coast lifestyle can offer with her husband, daughter and their dog.
